My wife lost her wedding ring in our front yard. I'm looking at renting a metal detector for $25 a day but a cheap one can be had for $25-$50. I'd love to sweep my backyard for nails. I've already found a couple caches of them.

I told my wife that I lost my wedding band in the front yard once.
Five wives later, that excuse still doesn't fly. Oh well.

theres a radio station that does a thing like once a week where the guy goes out with a metal detector to try and find stuff, you have to guess what he found and you win tickets or something. My mother-in-law tossed her bedding ring into the woods. she claims (and i'd believe) its valued at $15k. I kinda wanna go looking for it

That's a slippery slope to being the creepy guy at the beach in sandals with socks, though.

That's a lot of money. Have you considered divorce as a more cost effective option?

Who says I'm not already that guy? I just need the metal detector to finish the outfit.

There's no way I could get a divorce for < $50

Just make sure you linger around the teenagers a little too long and you've got it made.

That just happens to be where the good stuff is buried.
